Email Lists
How do I load my list into my HyperMail account?
Loading your mailing list into your account is easy! All you have to do is upload
your list to our system using our wizard. Please make sure your list is in an ".csv"
format. (you can create this file extension by using MS Excel)
What if I don't have an email list?
Not a problem depending on what type of market you are trying to target we have
a number email database companies that we partner with that offer very high quality
email lists. As well as we have an extensive database of over 120 Million contacts
broken down by consumers, businesses, SIC codes, professions, geographic, and many
other demographic selects to choose from!
What happens to my list after I've uploaded it to my account?
Your list always remains your property. HyperText Group will never rent, share or
sell your list as is in accordance with our privacy policy. Once your list is uploaded
it will be safe behind our secure firewalls and only you will be able to access
it with your login and password.
Can people automatically unsubscribe from my mailing list?
Yes. The entire process is automated. All someone has to do is click the 'unsubscribe'
link in the footer of your email campaign and then they will be automatically blocked
from future mailings. HyperMail creates and automatically embeds a uniques auto-unsubscribe
link to every outgoing email on the fly!
Can I include more information for people than just their email address?
Absolutely! You can include a variety of information for every contact including their name, address information, phone number and more. You also have the ability
to create up to 5 custom fields to store additional information that you require
for each contact like birthday, gender, hobby, debt amount, etc?
Can I see who has opened my email?
Yes, the second anyone opens your email, we record the exact date & time
and present that to you in an online report.
Can I see who has clicked a link in my email?
Yes! We track all clicks in your email campaign and we even allow you to see which
email addresses from your list clicked on your email along with all of their applicable
contact data.
Does HyperMail show me information about bounces?
Yes. Managing bounces is a very important part of email marketing and we make it
easy. For each campaign you will see a total number of bounces. You can then view
that list, export it, or use our list cleaning feature to block those addresses
from future mailings. Our system even records both Hard and Soft bounces, and gives
you a breakdown of which email server is causing the most bounces and why.
How quickly do the reports update?
Instantly and in real-time. The moment your email is sent the reporting starts and
you can track the progress from start to finish.
Are the reports printable? Yes. When you are viewing a report, you
can click a 'printer friendly' version. This will create a nicely formatted version
of the report ready to be sent to your printer.
Can I export the reports into Microsoft Excel?
Of course! When viewing a report, you can choose to 'export' that information to
a file. You can then open up the file in Excel and all other popular database programs
for further manipulation.
Email Deliverability
What can I do make sure my emails get delivered or increase my deliverability?
HyperMail provides you with all the necesarry tools and features to maintain deliverability
on your part through the use of 3rd party email server and/or your own provided
email servers. With this control and ability to manage all of your email servers,
sending domain names, and IP addresses, you will be in the best position to monitor
and maintain to increase deliverability rates. You also have the ability to control
how many email are sent per hour through each server, with HyperMail limiting each
server to no more than 1,000 per hour. Based on what you are sending and the email
list you are sending to will gauge how often and how fast you want to send. HyperMail
also gives you detailed monitoring of each servers sending and bounce back rate,
which gives you measurement on IP reputation and sending domain deliverabiltiy.
Plus, through the control panel, you have the ability to remove old email servers/domain
names/IP addresses, and new ones at the click of a button! There is NO other web
based email marketing software that allows you to do this!
Are outgoing emails screened for spam?
Yes! We pride ourselves on working with high quality clients who send out legitimate
mailings. Our abuse department screens all outbound email campaigns to stop any
'spam concerns' even before they are sent, thereby preserving our deliverability.
Keep in mind, HyperMail does automatically maintain Can-SPAM compliancy for all
outgoing emails.
What happens if there are spam complaints?
Treat the issue of spam very seriously and react instantly to any complaints in
an effort to resolve the problem as quickly and as efficiently as possible. You
can also manually remove and unsubscribe the individual from within your HyperMail
account by going to the "opt-Outs" section under contact group and adding their
address to the DNE (Do NOT Email) group.
Is HyperMail Can-Spam compliant?
HyperMail is completely compliant with the Can-Spam Act of 2003 and all state level
electronic mail transaction laws. You don't have
to do anything special since our wizards will automatically make sure all the elements are in
place for all outgoing
emails.
Templates
Do I need to know HTML or have other technical skills to create an email?
Absolutely not! You will be able to create eye-catching outstanding HTML email campaigns
that include pictures, text and links all without needing any technical skills at
all using our WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get) Editor.
Can I use my own HTML with HyperMail?
Yes. If you know HTML you can choose our HTML option, which will let you create
your entire email in HTML from scratch.
Can I preview my email while I'm working on it?
Of course! The look of your email will never be a mystery to you. As you create
your email you can click 'preview' to see a real-time update of what it will look
like.
Can I send myself a test copy of the email before it goes out to everyone?
Yes at any time you can send a test email from HyperMail to any email address of
your liking.
